With a dubious history dating back to the 1800's the Moore Park View Hotel is a little different than you may have expected. From police shootings and deaths from binge drinking, to the licensee arranging the arrest of her husband, scandal was rife. The pub moved from the original site in the 1930's but the mischievous stories remained. A gun toting licensee, murderous patrons, union unrest and our favourite story; a tram strike in 1954 which left over 800 city workers stranded after tram employees acted against spot police checks of their local, the MPV. Although it may not be the debaucherous setting it once was the Moore Park View Hotel still has it! Come in and check us out!
